Keyboard mappingsIn a standard Windows application - You hold down the CTRL+ Z/X/C/V keys to select the Edit menu commands. These keyboard shortcut keys work differently in Quicken, as explained in the table below.
Summary of keyboard mappings
CTRL key + | Quicken | Windows |
---|
Z | QuickZoom a report amount (Report window) | Undo |
X | Go to Matching Transfer (Edit menu > Transaction > Go To matching transfer) | Cut |
C | Category List (Tools menu) | Copy |
V | Void Transaction (Edit menu > Transaction > Void transaction(s)) | Paste |
If you prefer to use the Windows keyboard shortcuts, choose Windows standard (Undo/Cut/Copy/Paste). This doesn't affect other CTRL key combinations in Quicken.
