Non-investment accounts

Open the account you want to use.
Find the first transaction in the register. (You may need to scroll up.)
Select the transaction.
Click the Deposit field, change the amount, and then click Save.

Investment accounts

Open the account you want to use.
Find the first transaction in the transaction list. (You may need to scroll up.)
Select the transaction.
Click Edit, use the investment transaction dialog to change the opening amount, and then click Enter/Done.
