Printing reports
Printing financial reports is useful for record-keeping, sharing with a financial advisor, or preparing for tax season. Follow these steps to print reports, locate the reports you need, and troubleshoot common printing issues.
Printing a report
Select your report
Go to the Reports tab.
Choose a report from the available categories.
Open the print dialog
Use any of the following methods:
Select File > Print.
Press Command + P on your keyboard.
Click the Print icon in the report’s toolbar.
Configure your print settings
Select a printer from the Printer drop-down menu.
If your printer isn’t listed, click Add Printer to set up a new printer.
Adjust any necessary settings:
Number of copies
Pages to print (if printing only part of the report)
Orientation (portrait or landscape)
Print your report
Make sure your printer is turned on and has enough paper and ink.
Click Print to start printing.
Finding reports
If you can’t find a specific report:
Go to the Reports tab, where reports are categorized by type (spending, income, comparison, tax).
Use the Search bar in the Reports tab to find a report by name or keyword.
Troubleshooting common printing issues
Printer not recognized
Ensure the printer is connected to your Mac via USB or a local network.
If it’s not listed in Quicken, add it through System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
Incorrect print layout
Check that the orientation and scaling settings match your intended layout.
Use Print Preview to confirm before printing.
Printing quality issues
Check the printer’s ink or toner levels.
Select a higher print quality setting for better clarity.
