Set up a joint bank account
Add a regular checking account, and then follow these guidelines:
- Add a new tag for each person. You can even use a single letter, such as T for Terry and C for Chris.
- For the opening balance, use a split transaction to allocate an amount to each person.
- When you enter transactions in the register (for deposits or expenses) assign a tag (T or C in this example) to each transaction.
