Bills and Income Reminders, also referred to as scheduled transactions in Quicken, are more than just reminders for your bills. They can also help you predict your future cash flow and see when your accounts are in danger of overdraft or low balances.

Create new scheduled transactions

View your current and scheduled transactions

On your register, scheduled transactions are separated from current transactions by a green line. They also appear in dark gray text rather than black text to indicate that they have not yet cleared. Additionally, they have a clock icon.


You can also view scheduled transactions on your Quicken Calendar. Just click the Calendars tab at the top of your Quicken screen.

The Quicken calendar displays all the past, present, and scheduled transactions created in your register. Click on a calendar day to view all the transactions created for that day.

  • Bill reminders (scheduled transactions) are indicated with a timer icon
  • You can view the past and current transactions to analyze the cash-flow trends
  • Transactions are color-coded to indicate account type
    • Green – Cash and credit
    • Blue – Investments
    • Orange – Assets and loans
