You can change report and graph preferences such as the default date and comparison date ranges for all reports and graphs, how accounts and categories are identified in reports, whether color is (Colour in Canada) is used in reports, and more.

  1. Choose Edit menu > Preferences.
  2. In the left pane, choose Reports and Graphs if you want to change how both reports and graphs work, or choose Reports Only if you only want to change how reports work.Reports and GraphsThe date ranges you set here apply to all reports and graphs. If you want to change the date range for just the report or graph you are viewing, customize the report or graph instead..
  3. You can update any of the following:
    • Default date range
    • Default comparison date range
    • Report toolbar
    • Customizing reports and graphs
    • Cash-basis reporting if applicable (only in Quicken Home, Business and Rental PropertyBusiness & Personal)Reports only
    • Account display
    • Category display
    • Visual Settings

      Select the font size you would like all your reports to be displayed in. Choose among A-, A, A+.

      Check the Row color checkbox to change alternate row colors for your reports.

      Select Row height for your reports among - Standard, Compact & Extra space. The row height in the

      reports

      would be changed accordingly

    • Decimal places for prices and sharesEnter the number of decimal places to display in security prices and share amounts. You can enter a number from 0 to 6 to control the number of digits to the right of the decimal point. For example, if the option is set to 4, a price could be 10.1345.     The Reports & Graphs window is a popup window. This means that you can modify its behavior through the setup preferences, specifically the Automatically minimize popup windows check box. Click to clear this check box to display the Reports & Graphs window until you close it. Select the check box to minimize the Reports & Graphs window each time you run a report.
