Moving an account within a group

  1. Choose Tools menu > Account List.

  2. On the left side of the list, find the Order icon.

  2. To move an account up within a group, click the up arrow. To move an account down within the group, click the down arrow.

  3. Click Done when the accounts are in your preferred order.

Moving an account to a different group

Accounts are grouped by primary use (

Within certain limitations, it is possible to move an account from one group to another to customize the way Quicken displays your finances. For example:
