About downloading currency exchange rates
Because Quicken uses the exchange rates listed in the Currency List when it converts between currencies, you may want to download the latest exchange rates before entering a foreign currency transaction.
- To download currency exchange rates
- Choose Tools menu > Currency List. (Do it for me)
- Click Update.
- Alternatively, if you use One Step Update, you can download exchange rates as part of the update process.
- To manually update an exchange rate
- Choose Tools menu > Currency List. (Do it for me)
- Select the currency you want to update.
- Click Edit.
- Make changes as necessary, and then click OK.

- Downloaded currency exchange rates is a feature available in Quicken Premier, Home & Business, and Rental Property only.
