This procedure describes how to create memorized payees manually in Quicken for Windows. If you prefer, Quicken can automatically memorize payees for you, based on your register transactions. This behavior can be turned on or off by selecting or clearing the Automatically memorize new payees check box in the Data entry and QuickFill preferences area. In the same area, you can also customize settings that affect how memorized payees are created, displayed, and recalled.
