Work with attached images
Use Quicken's Attachments Viewer to view attachments, open the attachment in its associated Windows application (such as Windows Photo Viewer, Adobe Photoshop, or GIMP), save attachments to your hard drive so they can be accessed outside of Quicken, upload an attachment to the cloud, or delete attachments that you no longer need.
First, open the Attachments Viewer for the transaction attachment or account attachmentyou you want to work with.

Each transaction can have an unlimited number of attachments stored in a Quicken data file, and you can view these images only on your desktop software. For accounts for which you've enabled mobile and alerts, you can also have one attachment stored in the Quicken Cloud for each transaction.

- In the Attachments Viewer, click the attachment that you want to upload to the cloud.
- Click the gear icon

- Click Upload to cloud.
Notes
- If you already have an existing attachment file to the cloud, you must delete the existing attachment file on the cloud before you upload a new file.
- For accounts for which you've enabled mobile and alerts, you can have one attachment stored in the Quicken Cloud for each transaction. If you are attaching an image to an account for which you've enabled mobile and alerts, Quicken automatically uploads the first image to the cloud.
- You can attach a .bmp, .gif, .ico, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, or .tiff file that is up to 5 MB in file size.

To delete an attachment
- In the Attachments Viewer, click the gear icon at the bottom right of the attachment, and then click Delete.
- Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
- In the Attachments

- Viewer, click the cloud icon at the bottom right of the attachment.
- Click Delete, and then click Delete from cloud & desktop.
- Click Yes to confirm the deletion.
- In the Attachments Viewer, click the cloud icon at the bottom right of the attachment.
- Click Delete, and then click Delete from cloud only.
- Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

To save an attachment so it can be accessed outside of Quicken
- In the Attachments Viewer, click the attachment that you want to save.
- Click the gear

- icon or the cloud icon

- at the bottom right of the attachment thumbnail.
- Click Export.
- Select the drive and folder where you want the saved file to be located.
- Enter a name for the saved file.
- Select a file type.
- Click Save.
