To rename an account in the sidebar

1. Control-click or right-click the account you want to rename in the sidebar and choose Rename "Account".

2. Type a new name for the account.

3. Press Return.

To rename or change details for an account via Account Settings

1. Select Control-click or right-click the account you want to edit rename in the sidebar .Click the Settings icon at the bottom of the register toolbar OR choose Accounts → Settings from the top menu bar.
   Image Removedand choose Edit "Account" Settings.

2. You can update the Account Name, Description, Currency, Type, and other information.
   
3. Click Done.
