To edit categories or subcategories:

1. In Quicken, choose Window menu → Categories.
   
2. In the Categories window, select the category or subcategory.
3. Click the Edit icon.
   
4. Make the desired edits. You can modify the Name, Description, and Tax-related status.
   
5. Click Save.

To edit tags:

1. In Quicken, choose Window → Tags menu → Tags.
   
2. In the Tags window, select the tag.
3. Click the Edit icon.
   
4. Make the desired edits. You can modify the Name and Description.
   
5. Click Save.
